1. The main condition of acceptance of acceptance of any booking is that you agree to take good care of the property and contents. It must also be left truly clean and tidy, and all items left where you found them. Sorry , but NO PETS ALLOWED NO SMOKING policy in all our cottages.
2. A provisional booking must be confirmed with a completed Booking Form and Deposit within 7 days. You will be sent a Confirmation of Booking — a legal contract then exists and the balance of the rent is then due for payment even if you do not take up the booking. If you cancel the booking, then the rent, including the deposit, will be refunded, less £20 administration fee, only if the property is re-let. We recommend you to take out “Cancellation Insurance”. The balance of the rent, together with the separate Good Housekeeping cheque, must be received by us one month prior to your arrival. You will then be sent a plan showing the location of the cottage and the Digital Code for obtaining the Cottage Key. If this payment is not received in full and on time then we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you.
3. The "Good Housekeeping" cheque is payable on each cottage. We will return this by post at the end of your holiday provided all the booking conditions have been met. You will be liable for any costs resulting from damage, extra cleaning or disregard of the booking conditions — very minor items will not be charged, but you will be billed if the costs exceed the value of the "Good Housekeeping" cheque. Tables, beds, chairs, kitchen equipment, etc., must not be moved between cottages. At the end of your holiday please ensure that all kitchen equipment, floors & bathrooms are clean. Please leave the dishwasher empty, strip the beds and leave all the dirty linen, towels etc, in the laundry bag provided. |
4. Tenancies commence at 15.00 hrs and end at 10.00 hrs promptly on departure day — any delay in departure disregards the booking conditions and will result in a charge. The accommodation in each cottage is only for the persons whose names are on the booking form. Any changes must be notified to us in writing. Parking for over two cars per cottage can only be by prior agreement.
5. Should the property not be available due to circumstances beyond our control (for example: fire), then we are relieved from liability — but all monies would be refunded in full.
6. We do not accept liability for any loss, damage, sickness or injury, howsoever caused, to the client or any member of their party, or any of their possessions. You accept responsibility for checking that the freezer is working correctly — we do not accept any liability for any loss relating to it’s contents. Please ensure that the cleaning liquids, etc., provided are kept out of the reach of children. Use of the Child Play Area is included in the let on condition that it is supervised by an adult.
7. On arrival please collect the cottage key from the “Freezer Food and Payphone Building”. We will call after you have settled in, to make sure everything is satisfactory. At the end of your holiday please return the key to where you found it.
8. Any items left behind can be posted back on receipt of a cheque — minimum charge £6. Items are retained for two weeks only.
9. In the event of any problems during your holiday please let us know straight away, and we will deal with it as quickly as possible. We retain the right of entry for inspection and repairs. Note: "Cool Cooking" ceased trading in September 2007 |
