The West Coastguard - cozy,solid cottage in a beautiful location. We have been visting Ross Sands once or twice a year to walk, over the past 15 years or so, and have always wanted to stay in one of the cottages - and now we have!! Love the isolation,and being able to be the first on the beach in a day, or last in the year, as we did.
Really looking forward to coming back - this is our most favorite beach in the UK, and its been truly special to be able to stay so close with such easy access.

Lilia Boukikova, age 10 : The day my mummy told me she had booked a cottage in Northumberland I knew this was going to be an exciting holiday! I loved the enormous castles of Bamburgh,Lindisfarne and Dunstanburgh. We hope to return and maybe try out another cottage.
Alexander Boukikov, age 12 : Oystercatcher Cottage is a very modern cottage. The WiFi is excellent and the TVs are superb. The cottage is in a very good place and I would recommend it to anyone. |

What a wonderful oasis of peace and beauty. We have been so comfortable in Skylark Cottage and have loved the walk to, and on, the beach. Two of the walks in the folder are beautiful - Harthope Valley and Budle Bay - havn't tried the others. We only live in Newcastle but felt we could have been in another world ! |

I got booked up to come to Dovecot and wow wow wow, when I opened the front door I was very much surprised - what a fantastic cottage this is, so clean and everything in it you could wish for. Another wow was take the car to Ross Farm and stroll through the fields and sand dunes to Ross beach - it is about a 15min walk, and OMG what a fantastic sight to see. |
